Porcelain and direct veneers

What is the veneer? Nowadays, making porcelain and direct veneers are very successful techniques.
The dental techincian fabricates the thin porcelain sheet that we place on the jowl side of the tooth. The direct veneer is laminated by the dentist from special quality fillings. Many people like making veneers comparing to crowns, because it requires less filling.

What is it good for? For the correction of shape and color (limited possibilities).

Case study: Changing the shape Correcting shape and color

Changing the shape of the upper incisors Go back to the top

The upper incisors are strongly abraded. This is because of the strong clenching during the sleep. The patient wanted to form her front teeth to rejuvenate and reharmonize her smile.

Starting point. Strongly abraded upper incisors can be easily seen.
We polished the jowl side of the teeth.
Porcelain veneers.
The ready veneers.
Harmonized smile.

Of course, you can ask whether the veneers would be abraded or broken after a while just like natural teeth. The answer is: NO, because we have done something against the intensive night teeth pressure.
