Changing old fillings

Why is it important? First of all because those fillings that do not close can not guarantee the safety of teeth underneath. Secondly if the masticatory surface has been completed similar to the natural surface, it also favors the masticatory system (it is easier to chew food with the well indentured filling surface).

Is it durable? White fillings are harder to make. But using proper chemical technique it will merge better with the tooth and will be amazingly durable.

Case study: Changing the lower right bad looking white filling and amalgam filling

It is necessary to change the fillings as the tooth can be decayed under the filling and the chewing surface is not appropriately built up.

A corroded amalgam filling can be seen in the front right lower tooth.
In the second molar tooth there is no indenture.
The restorations are more successful esthetically and in their operation (appropriate chewing surface).
